WFUV Marquee Event: IRON & WINE with special guest Sean Kiely
City Winery NYC presents WFUV Marquee Event: IRON & WINE with special guest Sean Kiely live on Thursday, February 12th, at 7:00 PM! Iron & Wine's Sam Beam has been a friend of WFUV for decades now, and with every new release, his warm vocals and introspective lyrics seem to offer some new perspective on this prolific artist. Hen's Teeth, the eighth full-length album from Iron & Wine, is due out February 27. It's a follow-up and a somewhat darker companion album to 2024's Light Verse, whose tracks were products of the same recording sessions with the same musicians in Laurel Canyon. Iron & Wine kicks off an Australian tour at the end of February, returning to New York in the spring for a show at Brooklyn Steel on May 13.(opens in a new tab) Sean Kiely has been releasing music for over a decade -- he's been a longtime favorite of "Sunday Supper" host John Platt. The Jersey native made his SXSW debut in 2025, and opened for Richard Thompson in a hometown show at White Eagle Hall. Check out Kiely's NY Slice session to get to know this local talent.
