Bringing the timeless spirit of roots rock to life, THE THE BAND Band delivers an authentic and heartfelt tribute to one of the most influential groups in music history. Known for their pioneering blend of rock, folk, blues, and country, The Band helped define the sound of Americana, and this acclaimed ensemble channels that legacy with remarkable precision and passion. Audiences can expect faithful renditions of classics like “The Weight,” “Up on Cripple Creek,” and “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down,” performed with deep respect for the original sound and storytelling.
Formed in 2007 by co-founders Jack Kraft and Gary Solomon, the group was born out of a lifelong connection to The Band’s music, including Solomon’s unforgettable experience attending The Last Waltz in 1976. That historic moment, which featured appearances from legends like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Eric Clapton, became the inspiration behind a mission to recreate that same energy and emotional impact for new generations of fans.
