The World Famous Funky Bunch - 90s Party Tour
City Winery Boston presents: The World Famous Funky Bunch - 90s Party Tour Live on December 3rd at 7:30pm.
The World Famous Funky Bunch are back, bringing the unmistakable energy of 90s hip-hop, funk, and feel-good music into a new generation. Known for their infectious sound, dynamic performances, and undeniable connection to an era that helped shape music history, the group continues to evolve while honoring the legacy that made them a recognizable name in hip-hop culture.
Featuring Scott “Scottie Gee” Ross, Hector “The Booty Inspector” Barros, and Terry “DJT” Yancey, The World Famous Funky Bunch represent the perfect fusion of old-school flavor and contemporary creativity. Their music celebrates an era defined by groundbreaking beats, unforgettable hooks, and music that brought people together.
Now entering an exciting new chapter, the group is celebrating its 35th anniversary with EVOLUTION XL—a project that bridges generations through fresh sounds, legendary collaborations, and the signature Funky Bunch energy fans have come to love.
The project features an impressive lineup of collaborations, including CeCe Peniston, Digital Underground’s Money B and Young Hump, and Mark Calderon of Color Me Badd. With releases including “I’m Sending You Good Vibrations,” “90s Kinda Love,” and “Cut Through the Noise,” the group connects its celebrated musical roots with a modern audience.
Beyond the music, The World Famous Funky Bunch are building a cultural movement that extends into live entertainment, merchandise, and creative ventures. Their mission is simple: preserve the spirit of 90s music, create new memories, and prove that great music never goes out of style.
