Steve Ray Ladson is a versatile musician and songwriter from South Carolina, USA. Today, he stands out as one of the most captivating voices on the blues, roots, and country scenes.
A true virtuoso, his talents span numerous instruments: banjo, guitar, piano, Hammond organ, bass, accordion, spoons, and harmonica.
He played a pivotal role in the success of The Blind Boys of Alabama (winners of six Grammy Awards and a Lifetime Achievement Grammy) and has also collaborated with Robert Randolph and the Family Band, a four-time Grammy-nominated group.
Today, he is carving his own musical path by highlighting his unique genre: “Blackgrass Brothercana.” His mission? To preserve the essence of blues, funk, and rock ‘n’ roll. He has recently recorded an EP at the legendary Abbey Road studios with Billy Ray Cyrus and has completed yet another European tour including Montreux jazz and his second sold out show at Ronnie Scott’s in London.
Following his remarkable run to the finals of America’s Got Talent, which propelled him to the top of the iTunes charts with two number-one original compositions, Steve Ray is back on home soil making his NYC debut. .
