City Winery Boston presents Stanley Simmons Dancing While The World Is Ending live on October 2nd at 7:30pm.
Stanley Simmons is the debut project of Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons, sons of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of Kiss, and proof that the best collaborations sometimes take decades to find their moment.
The two grew up together on the road, practically family before they were ever bandmates. But it wasn't until December 2024 that they played together musically for the first time, in what was meant to be a one-off Instagram reel. The response was immediate. The chemistry was undeniable. By February 2025, they were writing together, and Stanley Simmons was born.
What followed moved fast. After hearing their first bedroom demos, producer Rob Cavallo, whose credits include Green Day, Fleetwood Mac, My Chemical Romance, and Dave Matthews Band, signed on immediately to produce their debut full-length and manage the duo. The album arrives August 28th.
Live, Stanley Simmons brings the energy of a band that still has something to prove. These are two musicians who grew up watching some of rock's most commanding stages, absorbing what it means to hold a room. Their first North American tour this fall is the moment that education becomes performance.
