Savannah Pope: A Place for You
City Winery Boston presents(opens in a new tab) Savannah Pope live on October 16th at 7:30pm.
Following its acclaimed debut at NYC's iconic Joe's Pub during Pride, Savannah Pope brings A Place for You to Boston.
This exclusive, intimate experience is part high-glam cabaret, part rock concert, part fever dream. Expect an immersive night of music, mischief, and communion as Pope moves fluidly between stage and audience, blurring the line between concert and performance art.
Part chanteuse, part instigator, part patron saint of the strange, Pope weaves mind-bending original music, sharp-witted repartee, theatrical spectacle, and special guest appearances into a world that is at once camp, dangerous, and deeply sincere.
A Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and visual artist known for her operatic vocals and baroque aesthetic, Savannah Pope has emerged as a singular voice in art rock and cinematic pop. From her acclaimed concept album Pandemonium, produced by Nine Inch Nails collaborator Sean Beavan, to a recent North American tour supporting Andy Bell, Pope creates worlds as much as she creates songs.
At its core, A Place for You is a love letter to outsiders - a lush, electric sanctuary for the gloriously strange, the overdressed, the unwell, and anyone who's ever felt like there might not be a place for them.
Here, there is.
Come as you are. Leave a little stranger.
