Santiago Cruz es uno de los artistas más importantes del pop en Colombia y Latinoamérica. Con más de 20 años de carrera, el cantautor tolimense es un nombre indispensable dentro del panorama de la música pop internacional, con múltiples reconocimientos en los últimos años. Con 10 álbumes publicados hasta el día de hoy, Santiago cuenta con 6 nominaciones a los Latin GRAMMY (Mejor Álbum Cantautor: 2010 “Cruce de Caminos”, 2015 “Equilibrio”, 2017 “Trenes, Aviones y Viajes Interplanetarios”, 2023 “Nueve”; Grabación del Año: 2013 “Desde Lejos”; Mejor Canción Cantautor “1.200 Kilómetros” 2023).
En septiembre de 2021 publicó su primer libro, “Diciembre, otra vez”, un relato escrito en presente de distintos episodios de su vida en los que cuenta su recorrido como artista, su punto de vista acerca de distintos aspectos musicales, de industria y sociales, así como su transformación personal.
Hizo parte del programa “La Descarga” en horario prime time del canal Caracol como jurado. Durante 2023, lanzó su noveno álbum de estudio “Nueve”, producido por Juan Pablo Vega y presentó su gira “Después de la Tormenta Tour” con 25 fechas que incluyeron shows en Colombia, República Dominicana, Ecuador y 9 fechas en Estados Unidos y un inolvidable show Sold Out en el Movistar Arena de Bogotá.
Durante el 2024, inició su gira “Un Tour Íntimo de Verdad” en México, con shows sold out en Ciudad de México, Guadalajara y Querétaro y presentaciones en Toluca, Monterrey y Puebla. Con “Un Tour Acústico de Verdad”, el cantautor realizó 5 shows en Estados Unidos y continuó por 14 ciudades de Colombia, con 3 fechas Sold Out en Bogotá, Bucaramanga y Medellín.
En 2025 presentó su décimo álbum de estudio “Quince de Caminos” una celebración de los 15 años de “Cruce de Caminos” (su álbum más relevante hasta la fecha). El álbum cuenta con las versiones 2025 de los éxitos que compusieron este álbum y cuenta con colaboraciones como Junior Zamora, Monsieur Periné y Juan Pablo Vega. Junto con este álbum se lanzó el “Quince de Caminos, La Gira” que contó con más de 40 shows por Estados Unidos, México, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, España, Ecuador, República Dominicana y Guatemala.
En 2026, llega su undécimo álbum, “Fragmentos”. Un trabajo discográfico que contará con 11 sencillos inéditos y una gira que lo llevará por diferentes ciudades de Colombia, latinoamérica, Europa y Estados Unidos.
