Beyond her work on Criminal Minds, Vangsness is an accomplished actor, playwright, and creative force in the Los Angeles theater community. Her work has earned multiple honors, including the Open Fist Excellence in the Arts Award and the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Natalie Schafer Award.
