As the frontman and songwriter of Haircut 100, Heyward helped shape the sound of the early 1980s with upbeat, unforgettable hits like “Love Plus One,” “Fantastic Day,” “Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl),” and “Nobody's Fool.” The band's debut album, Pelican West, achieved platinum status and introduced audiences to Heyward's distinctive blend of infectious melodies and clever lyricism.
His solo career continued that success with albums including North of a Miracle and From Monday to Sunday, featuring the Billboard Alternative hit “Kite.” Over the years, Heyward has remained a celebrated songwriter, returning to international stages both as a solo performer and with Haircut 100.
