"Get ready for an unforgettable night with Morgan James, the Juilliard-trained singer, songwriter, actress, and recording artist known for her powerhouse vocals, soulful artistry, and genre-defying performances.
Currently touring in support of her sixth studio album, *Soul Remains the Same*, Morgan reimagines heavy rock songs from the 1980s and ’90s through a feminine soul lens, bringing a fresh perspective and undeniable vocal intensity to familiar favorites. Her acclaimed catalog also includes the original soul albums *Nobody’s Fool*, *Memphis*, *Magnetic*, and *A Very Magnetic Christmas*, along with *Reckless Abandon*, which earned her praise from the *Huffington Post* as the “Brightest Breakout Artist of the Year.”
Beyond her solo work, Morgan has collaborated with Postmodern Jukebox, recorded a full-album celebration of Nina Simone, and taken on ambitious reinterpretations of classics including The Beatles’ *White Album*, Joni Mitchell’s *Blue*, and Jeff Buckley’s *Grace*. Her music videos have amassed more than 300 million views, showcasing the remarkable reach of her artistry.
A seasoned Broadway performer, Morgan has appeared in the original companies of *The Addams Family*, *Wonderland*, *Godspell*, and *Motown: The Musical*, as well as Kristin Chenoweth’s *For The Girls*.
