MIC KING - FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION LIVE
City Winery Philadelphia presents MIC KING - FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION LIVE on December 13th at 7:30pm.
Mic King comes home to Philadelphia to perform For Your Consideration, the EP that caps the most audacious year any rapper with a day job has ever had. In 2026 alone he has released records with Rakim, Ghostface Killah, and Scott Storch, and the new EP adds Hit-Boy and Just Blaze to the list. Music is his second job.
The music came first, and it started here. A fearsome battle rapper out of Philadelphia, King signed with Uprising Records in 2006, toured more than 35 countries, and shared stages with Wu-Tang Clan, Rakim, Nas, and J. Cole. Along the way he invented the blindfolded freestyle, rhyming about any object handed up from the crowd, sight unseen.
Then, at his peak, he built a company. King founded iPullRank in 2014 and grew it into an Inc. 5000 agency behind $5B+ in client revenue for brands like MGM Resorts and American Express. He wrote the AI Search Manual, was named Search Engine Land’s 2025 AI Search Marketer of the Year, and founded SEO Week, the New York conference whose afterparties have booked Busta Rhymes, Method Man, and The LOX. One recent assessment put it plain: he’s “more like a Fortune 500 CEO than a regular rapper.”
The through line isn’t hustle. It’s craft. The same precision that builds search strategy for Fortune 50 boardrooms builds a sixteen. Expect “Hallelujah,” “COUNT ON IT,” “BLACK MIRROR,” and the new EP performed live in the city that made him, blindfolded freestyle included. Bring something for him to rhyme about.

Reserve your preferred wine by filling out this form(opens in a new tab) and have a bottle waiting at your table when you arrive at your show. No more waiting for your first drink! We will save your wine preference and have a bottle at your table for all future shows. When you want to change your wine, come back to this form and update your preference.
🎶 While we do not require a two-item food or beverage minimum, we strongly encourage it. Most ticket revenue goes directly to the artist and production costs, so food and drink purchases help support the staff, service, and atmosphere that make these intimate shows possible.
The good news: we think you’ll love the food and wine just as much as the show.
