Mama Dea’s Juke Box brings laughter, powerful music, family drama, and unforgettable characters together for a lively theatrical tribute inspired by the world of Tyler Perry. When Mama Dea decides to sell the family home, everyone has something to say, from the opinionated Church Ladies and peacekeeping Faithful Daughter to the scheming Hustler Uncle and the wonderfully chaotic Crazy Neighbor.
At the heart of it all is an old jukebox filled with memories. As the music plays, audiences are taken on an entertaining journey through love, faith, family, heartbreak, comedy, and the memorable musical moments that have made Tyler Perry's work resonate with generations.
Hosted and woven together by Storyteller Jayonna B., this live theatrical concert combines comedy, powerful vocals, dramatic storytelling, and audience sing-alongs for an evening full of heart and fun.
