City Vineyard presents Maddie Pizzarelli & Susie McCollum live on Wednesday, March 18th, at 7:00 PM!

Maddie Pizzarelli is a New York City-based singer/songwriter and guitarist. Maddie Pizzarelli is also a diner fixture, alternate guitar tuning advocate, bodacious cowboy, prosciutto consumer, obsessive playlister, snarky diarist, 2007’s “Most Enthusiastic at Day Camp” winner, and interminable list maker. Inspired by the lyrical depth of Joni Mitchell, the rhythmic vitality of Mumford & Sons, and the brazen emotionality of Alanis Morissette, her songs explore coming of age, relationships, and feminine angst through her introspective lyrics and muscular acoustic guitar playing. She has been performing professionally since she was sixteen, in venues such as Los Angeles’s Disney Hall, New York’s Birdland Jazz Club, the Lincoln Center American Songbook Series, and the Montreal Jazz Festival. Pizzarelli is also a Zoom graduate of Brown University and an alumna of the LaGuardia High School for Music and Art & Performing Arts vocal department, where she was a member of the acclaimed New Music Ensemble. Aimee Bayles is a New York City–based singer-songwriter whose soulful, folk-inflected sound draws on her Virginia roots. Known for her moving releases Enough and Flowers For Love And Loss, she’s now teaming up with Canadian musicians Tristan Clark and Rob Ritchie on an exciting new project, bringing fresh depth to her voice-driven storytelling.

With old soul vulnerability and a rich vocal palette, indie artist Susie McCollum lives at the intersection of raw emotion and refined craft. Originally from New York City and now based in Chicago, McCollum blends timeless songwriting with a contemporary edge - drawing inspiration from artists like Joni Mitchell, Norah Jones, and Amy Winehouse.

A lifelong student of music, McCollum’s journey spans opera, theater, jazz, R&B, & folk - providing an eclectic background that informs her textured, authentic sound. Her mesmerizing and poetic lyricism is fueled by compassion, wit, and an insatiable curiosity about the human experience. Susie is also a self-taught guitarist - a pandemic hobby turned renewed sense of artistic purpose.

Susie released her latest single “Abigail” to critical acclaim on October 24, 2025. She is set to release her debut album fall 2026.
