Renowned Brooklyn-born singer-songwriter Karen Bernod returns to City Winery New York for an unforgettable celebration of the forthcoming release of her deeply personal new album, IRIS — a tribute to her late mother. Following her sold-out City Winery debut last Summer, Bernod returns to the stage for Mother’s Day Weekend to share new music and stories that honor love, legacy, and the enduring bond between mothers and daughters.
The performance offers audiences an intimate first listen to selections from IRIS ahead of its official release on May 13, 2026 — which also marks Bernod’s birthday.
A fixture in the world of soul, R&B, and jazz for more than four decades, Bernod has lent her signature three-octave voice and dynamic artistry to a who’s-who of music legends — including Chaka Khan, Incognito, D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, Mary J.
