A Nashville holiday tradition returns as the Jody Nardone Trio celebrates the timeless music of Vince Guaraldi’s A Charlie Brown Christmas at City Winery Nashville on December 20.
Nashville-based pianist, vocalist, and composer Jody Nardone has established himself as one of the city’s accomplished jazz players and improvisers, performing and recording with artists including Brian Setzer, Jackson Browne, Larry Carlton, Jeff Coffin, and Alison Brown. For more than 20 years, his own trio has been at the heart of his music, pairing piano with bass and drums for performances filled with energy, interplay, and improvisation.
The trio captured its take on this beloved music with the 2019 album A Charlie Brown Christmas Live in Nashville, earning praise from Vince Guaraldi biographer Derrick Bang for Nardone’s distinctive, playful approach.
