Following the heartbreaking loss of Jill Sobule in early May 2025, a series of tribute events—Jillith Fair: Loving Jill Sobule—was launched to celebrate her life, music, and enduring spirit. In her honor, It Was a Good Life Foundation was established to carry on Jill’s legacy, keep her songs alive, and help raise funds for lefty pinko charities Jill championed.
These events are designed to return each year around her birthday (January 16th) and during Pride Month (June), wherever and whenever possible.
Join us for Jill’s Birthday Bash at City Winery on January 16th—an evening of music, memories, and love.
