An intimate Nashville Songwriters Round brings together three standout voices behind some of today’s most recognizable country and Americana storytelling. Canaan Smith steps into the circle with over 500 million streams, a Platinum selling #1 radio single, and recent success as a songwriter on Tyler Hubbard’s Billboard #1 hit “Park.” He also continues to push creative boundaries through his collaboration with Nashville rock band New Medicine, proving his sound is always evolving while staying rooted in strong, melodic storytelling.
Sharing the stage is Jeremy Spillman, a Kentucky born songwriter whose catalog spans cuts by Eric Church, Tim McGraw, Ashley McBryde, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, and many more. Known for his lyrical depth and emotional clarity, Spillman brings the perspective of a seasoned writer and devoted storyteller shaped by decades in Nashville and life as a father of four.
Rounding out the round is Jason Nix, a Nashville native with deep roots in Bluegrass, Motown, and Classic Rock influences. A celebrated songwriter with credits including Keb’ Mo’ and Lainey Wilson, and co-writer of the ACM Song of the Year “Things A Man Oughta Know,” Nix also steps forward as a solo artist with his latest release “Mary Wanna.”
