City Sessions brings singer-songwriters together in the round, trading songs and swapping stories in an intimate night where the room is part of the show. You'll hear the songs the way they were first written, with the surprises that only happen when artists play off each other.

Riese is a singer-songwriter based in NYC with a gift for turning heavy emotions into upbeat pop songs. Inspired by artists like Julia Michaels, Griff, and Holly Humberstone, she began writing songs at 17 after making a pivotal decision: taking a high school songwriting class instead of AP U.S. History. Her honest, relatable lyrics and catchy melodies have resonated with fans - so much so that they helped her raise over $7k on Kickstarter in less than a day to fund her debut EP, “9th Life,” released in fall 2025.

Joe Ragosta is a platinum-selling songwriter and major label recording artist who is quickly becoming one of Country, Rock and Pop music’s most versatile new weapons. Splitting time between Long Island, New York and Nashville, Tennessee, he has racked up over a quarter-billion plays and counting across a slew of cuts with artists from every point on the musical spectrum. Most recently, Joe partnered with co-writers Austin Nivarel, Robert Ragosta, and America’s most electrifying artist JELLY ROLL (Jason Deford) to write the genre-defying hit song “Need A Favor.” It’s the first song in the history of the Billboard Music Charts to go #1 on both Country and Rock radio. Beyond the stage, Gallagher has showcased her versatile talents across television and film, notably starring as Annika in Netflix’s global hit series You and appearing in Anna Kendrick’s Woman of the Hour. Chris Berardo is a Connecticut-based singer-songwriter who delivers timeless, unfiltered Americana and roots rock born from a thousand beer-stained stages. Honing his craft alongside legendary Four Seasons tunesmith Bob Crewe, Berardo is a deliberate and purposeful storyteller whose smoky voice and worldly-wise tales explore love, life, and hard knocks. Celebrated by Americana UK for keeping the genre's flame alive while moving it forward, this consummate performer and his band, The DesBerardos, seamlessly bridge intimate acoustic sets and full-blown theater concerts. Having shared the stage with icons like The Doobie Brothers, America, and The Marshall Tucker Band, Berardo continues to earn praise from rock royalty as a refreshing and deeply authentic voice in modern music.

Somewhere along the way, growing up dancing in Louisiana transformed into a passion for singing, and Katie Austin has been chasing the neon dream ever since. Today, this Nashville-based country singer-songwriter is recognized as one of Music City’s most formidable independent artists. She writes and performs authentic country music for anyone who has ever cried, smiled, or two-stepped through life. Katie has built an impressive reputation for her raw storytelling, immense vocal range, and high-energy performances, as demonstrated by her recent releases: “Loving You,” “Make Me Hate You,” “Bandwagon,” “Dear Devil,” and “Grounded”. While she commands the stage as a dynamic live performer, it is her razor-sharp songwriting that has solidified her status as one of Nashville’s most respected creators. As a writer, Katie’s credentials speak volumes, including collaborations with some of Nashville’s finest songwriters such as Jenna LaMaster, Bri Fletcher, Justin Wantz, Hunter Leath, Kasey Tyndall, and Lainey Wilson. As a seasoned touring artist, she has shared stages with country titans like Chris Young, Big & Rich, and Joe Nichols. Off stage, she reaches audiences nationwide as a television co-host alongside Kristy Lee Cook on the Sportsman Channel's outdoor lifestyle program, The Most Wanted List (Katie Austin Sportsman Channel).
