A true pioneer of the independent movement, Eric has consistently delivered timeless music while maintaining complete artistic freedom. His 17th studio album, Lessons, showcased his songwriting mastery, with the lead single and its remix—featuring Anthony Hamilton, Raheem DeVaughn, and Kevin Ross—earning widespread acclaim.
In 2025, Eric released his 18th studio album, Beautifully All Over The Place (BAOTP), exclusively on his website—further solidifying his reputation for pushing boundaries in R&B and soul music. He’s not only celebrated as a singer-songwriter, but also respected as an educator, having served as professor at Berklee College of Music from 2019 to 2024.
