A true pioneer of the independent movement, he has spent more than two decades redefining what it means to create honest music while maintaining full artistic freedom. With 17 studio albums to his name, including Lessons and its acclaimed remix featuring Anthony Hamilton, Raheem DeVaughn, and Kevin Ross, Eric continues to set the standard for timeless, soul driven songwriting. His forthcoming release, Beautifully All Over The Place, promises to push those boundaries even further.
Beyond the studio, Eric has served as a professor at Berklee College of Music and holds the distinguished title of Artistic Director at the National Museum of African American Music.
