Elisa Smith is an award-winning country songwriter and performer known for her gri9y, soulful sound that blends vintage country with rock ’n’ roll edge. O@en described as “Lore9a Lynn meets class rock,” her music captures nostalgia, wanderlust, heartbreak, and a rebellious spirit that resonates with audiences across New England and beyond.
While a student at Harvard, Elisa met Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. When she told Garth she loved to perform but couldn't get herself to get on a stage because of crippling stage fright, he invited her on stage to play a song saying "This is what we call bein' bapMzed by fire." A@er her performance, Garth gave Elisa his guitar and told her to "sing her heart out." Her life and music career have been forever changed because of his moment of kindness.
Elisa has released a growing catalog of work, including her debut EP "Hitch A Ride" (2018), her full-length album "BapMzed By Fire" (2022), and her EP "Spirit On the Run" (2024). Elisa was nominated for Country Vocalist of the Year and EP of the Year ("Spirit On The Run") at the 2025 Josie Awards, accepMng the award for Best Female Country Song of the Year ("Nashville, Don't Forget Me") on the Grand Ol' Opry Stage. She's also been nominated for three BMAs for Country ArMst of the Year, three New England Music Awards for Country ArMst of the Year, and her song "What's One More" featuring Brad Sample was a finalist in the Wide Open Country American Songwriter songwriMng compeMMon.
She has been referred to as "Boston's Honky Tonk Country Queen" and "one of the best original country acts in New England," and has been featured on The Bull, Country 102.5, and indie radio staMons across the country. She's headlined and performed at fesMvals throughout New England, performed on NPR's The Culture Show, Boston local television, and she has been featured in WBUR's the ARTery, HarvardEd Magazine, and music blogs from around the world.

After leaving the Army in 2018, frontman Nate Perry returned to the Boston area with a new mission: to start a band. Stationed near Nashville, Perry had initially focused on a military career, but his time in Kentucky and Tennessee reignited his long-held passion for music. During his time off, he immersed himself in Nashville's live music scene, captivated by the musicians on stage who were living the dream he longed to pursue.
Back in Boston, Nate soon connected with guitarist Mike Chandler, a seasoned player whose previous band had recently disbanded. Together, they began shaping a new musical direction. To complete the lineup, they brought in drummer Sam Demello, bassist Connor Milligan, and keyboardist Ollie Nash. This collaboration birthed Nate Perry & Ragged Company, a dynamic new force in the Americana-rock scene.
Since forming, Nate Perry & Ragged Company have been lighting up the Boston music scene and beyond, playing shows that highlight their infectious songwriting and electric guitar-driven sound. In 2024, they released their debut EP, "The Otherside of Everything," which rapidly garnered over 10,000 streams, a testament to their growing popularity.
Nate Perry's journey from the Army to concert stages is a testament to the power of finding and following one's passion, turning the muse of Nashville into the sounds of a rising Boston band.
