David Nail brings his deeply honest songwriting and powerful vocals to City Winery Hudson Valley for an intimate night of country music rooted in raw emotion and fearless storytelling.
Hailing from Kennett, Missouri, Nail has long been respected on Music Row as a true creative force, unafraid to confront personal struggles and lived experiences head-on. The GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum singer and songwriter first made his mark with standout releases like I’m About To Come Alive, The Sound Of A Million Dreams, I’m A Fire, and Fighter, projects that established him as an innovator while pushing the boundaries of modern country.
After stepping away from MCA Nashville, Nail embraced a more organic and liberated creative path. That journey led to David Nail & The Well Ravens, his reflective solo EP Oh, Mother, and the deeply personal Bootheel 2020 and Bootheel 2021, inspired by his Missouri roots. Rolling Stone praised the title track of Oh, Mother for how it builds quietly and gracefully into something powerful and majestic. More recent releases like Best of Me and singles “If I Could Call” and “Why” featuring Aubrie Sellers showcase an artist still evolving, still pushing forward.
