City Winery NYC Presents Damien Escobar - Art of a Gentleman Tour live on Wednesday, December 23rd, at 7:30 PM(opens in a new tab)
Damien Escobar comes home to New York City on December 23 for a special evening at City Winery NYC.
Born and raised in Jamaica, Queens, the two-time Emmy Award-winning artist known as the “King of Strings” has a story deeply rooted in New York. After graduating from Juilliard at just 12 years old, Escobar’s journey eventually found him performing for commuters in the city’s subways. His passion and persistence would take him from those underground platforms to stages around the world, performing for everyone from Oprah to the Obamas.
Nearly two decades into his career, Escobar has sold more than one million records, earned an NAACP Award nomination, found success across the Billboard charts, and scored a #1 song with “Taboo.” With Gemini, he continues his mission to demonstrate the extraordinary power of instrumental music and bring contemporary violin further into the mainstream.
Just days before Christmas, experience a true New York story come full circle as Damien Escobar brings his electrifying musicianship home for an intimate evening of live music, dinner, and wine at City Winery NYC.

Reserve your preferred wine by filling out this form(opens in a new tab) and have a bottle waiting at your table when you arrive at your show. No more waiting for your first drink! We will save your wine preference and have a bottle at your table for all future shows. When you want to change your wine, come back to this form and update your preference.
🎶 While we do not require a two-item food or beverage minimum, we strongly encourage it. Most ticket revenue goes directly to the artist and production costs, so food and drink purchases help support the staff, service, and atmosphere that make these intimate shows possible.
The good news: we think you’ll love the food and wine just as much as the show.(opens in a new tab)
