Phoebe Katis and Dan Clews, both established artists in their own right, bring the full arc of two careers together: Carole King's six Grammy Awards and twenty-times-platinum catalog alongside James Taylor's five Grammys and his standing as one of American folk music's defining voices.
The critical response has been consistent. Sir George Martin called Clews "too great a talent to ignore." BBC Radio described the performance as sending chills. BroadwayBaby gave it four stars and called it something that would "leave any folk-rock fans wholly satisfied."
