Featuring an all-star collective of musicians connected to legendary groups like Buena Vista Social Club, AfroCuban All Stars, and the bands of Celia Cruz, Omara Portuondo, and Chucho Valdés, this extraordinary ensemble keeps the rich tradition of classic Cuban music alive for a new generation.
Leading the orchestra is acclaimed Cuban violin virtuoso Rolando Morejón Reyes, whose dynamic artistry and deep roots in the genre guide an exceptional lineup of performers. With a career that includes work with icons such as Willie Colón, Cachao López, and Oscar D’León, Morejón Reyes joins forces with a rotating cast of world-class musicians including trumpeter Antonio Perigo, percussionist Miguel Valdés, pianist Helder Rojas, trombonist Yosmel Garceran, and Latin Grammy nominated percussionist Pepe Espinosa.
