City Winery Philadelphia presents Brandy Clark Take Flight World Tour live on March 19th at 7:30pm.

Arriving on the heels of both winning her first Grammy Award (after 17 nominations) and being named one of The New York Times’ 30 Greatest Living Songwriters, Brandy Clark returns with her highly anticipated new album, the bird(Reprise Records). Featuring eleven masterful songs written with some of her closest collaborators, the bird was produced by Grammy Award-winner Shooter Jennings and recorded at LA’s Sunset Sound Studio. Highlights include the first single, “American Roots,” written by Clark, Michael Pollack (“Dear Insecurity,” “Flowers”) and Griff Clawson, and inspired by Woody Guthrie’s timeless folk anthem, “This Land Is Your Land.” Moved to write something that spoke to love of country and patriotism, the song has been viscerally received by audiences at concerts — eliciting spontaneous mid-song standing ovations.

The new album follows 2023’s acclaimed self-titled album, which was produced by Brandi Carlile and featured the standout single, “Dear Insecurity,” which won Best Americana Performance at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards and Song of the Year at the 2024 Americana Honors & Awards.
