Beatledudes Celebrate John Lennon's Birthday
Three musicians, one unmistakable sound. Beatledudes recreates the Beatles' full catalog with just three players, a feat that has made them a fixture in Nashville's tribute scene, and this show marks their tribute to John Lennon on his birthday.
The band's pedigree runs deep. Steve, a Tulsa native, spent years in Power Pop band 20/20, releasing albums on Sony and landing the hits "Yellow Pills" and "Nuclear Boy" on American Bandstand, work that's earned 20/20 a place among the genre's most respected acts. He later joined The Long Players, one of Nashville's longest running live bands, now celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Drummer and vocalist Rick built his career from the ground up, backing Benny Mardones before becoming an early architect of Nashville's Americana sound alongside Steve Earle. He's recorded and toured with Oscar nominee Allison Moorer, with stops on Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show, and Austin City Limits, and spent years as a member of Pure Prairie League and a founding member of RCA's Pinmonkey, earning an ACM nomination along the way.
Bassist and vocalist Ralph came up through the Pacific Northwest scene, including a run with A&M recording artists Paul Hyde and the Payolas, before landing in Nashville, where he's toured and recorded with Paul Thorn, Jo Dee Messina, Suzy Bogguss, and more.
