(opens in a new tab) BBMAK is a British pop rock band formed in 1997, featuring Mark Barry, Christian Burns, and Stephen McNally. Known for their rich harmonies and guitar driven melodies, BBMAK’s sound has often been compared to legendary acts like The Beatles and Oasis. Their music blends melodic pop with classic rock influences, appealing to fans across generations.

The group broke through with their debut album Sooner or Later in 2000, which sold over one million copies worldwide and reached the Top 40 on the Billboard 200. The album produced massive hits including “Back Here” and “Still on Your Side,” cementing BBMAK as a standout act of the early 2000s pop era. Their follow up album Into Your Head in 2002 earned critical praise and delivered fan favorites such as “Out of My Heart (Into Your Head)” and “Staring Into Space.”

After a hiatus to pursue individual projects, BBMAK reunited in 2018 and released their third studio album Powerstation in 2019, showcasing an evolved sound with modern electronic and dance influences. Over the years, the band has toured with artists like *NSYNC and Britney Spears and appeared on major television programs including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Good Morning America, and Live with Regis and Kelly.

Celebrated for writing and performing their own music during the height of the pop explosion, BBMAK continues to maintain a devoted global fanbase. Billboard recently ranked “Back Here” as the 9th greatest boy band song of all time.
