Grammy- nominated folk singer-songwriter Ari Hest brings two decades of eclectic music and touring experience to The Lounge at City Winery Nashville for an intimate evening of fan-focused music and storytelling, performing Peter Gabriel's 'So' album.
From independently building a loyal following through relentless college touring to international shows with artists like The Indigo Girls, Martin Sexton, Judy Collins and Suzanne Vega, Ari has created his own unique path in music. His songs have appeared in popular TV shows such as The Path, Private Practice, and One Tree Hill, but his newest endeavor, “The Treehouse Project,” is the most engaging yet. Every two weeks, Hest writes, records, and releases a song on his Patreon, which his subscribers then vote on their favorites of the year to create an album. This project is in its fifth year with 125 original songs written thus far.
