Born in Paducah, Kentucky, she began her musical journey at the tender age of five, joining her older sisters in a gospel group called the Parks Sisters. While her roots lie in gospel music, Woodson’s passion for exploring various musical genres led her to pursue a career in the commercial music industry.

Woodson’s academic achievements are equally noteworthy. She is the first graduate of the Commercial Music Program at Tennessee State University in Nashville. Her diverse musical background encompasses gospel, R&B, jazz, and pop, making her a versatile artist with a wide appeal.
