An Evening with JoJo Hermann and special guest Sam Holt
JoJo Hermann has spent more than three decades at the keyboard of one of American rock's most devoted live bands, and the music he makes away from Widespread Panic is just as rooted, just as alive.
Raised in New York City and shaped by the piano professors of New Orleans, Professor Longhair and Dr. John among them, Hermann arrived in the South and never really left in spirit. He joined Widespread Panic in 1992, bringing boogie-woogie piano, B-3 organ, and a soulful vocal presence that turned songs like "Ain't Life Grand," "Blackout Blues," and "One Arm Steve" into tent-pole moments for the band's most faithful. His touch is unmistakable: blues-drenched, improvisational, and locked into something that feels both ancient and immediate.
Beyond the Panic, Hermann has pursued the sounds that made him. His Mardi Gras band channels New Orleans funk and R&B with the kind of celebratory looseness you can't manufacture. Missing Cats, his folk-rock project with Sherman Ewing, trades the Hammond for something quieter and more considered. Both projects reveal the same musician at the center: someone for whom roots music is not a reference point but a home.(opens in a new tab)

Reserve your preferred wine by filling out this form(opens in a new tab) and have a bottle waiting at your table when you arrive at your show. No more waiting for your first drink! We will save your wine preference and have a bottle at your table for all future shows. When you want to change your wine, come back to this form and update your preference.
🎶 While we do not require a two-item food or beverage minimum, we strongly encourage it. Most ticket revenue goes directly to the artist and production costs, so food and drink purchases help support the staff, service, and atmosphere that make these intimate shows possible.
The good news: we think you’ll love the food and wine just as much as the show.
