British pop icon Nick Heyward brings his Acoustic Road Trip to City Winery New York City on March 15 for an intimate evening celebrating more than four decades of music.
As the frontman and songwriter of Haircut 100, Heyward helped define the sound of early '80s British pop with hits including “Love Plus One,” “Fantastic Day,” “Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl),” and “Nobody's Fool.” The band's platinum-selling debut album, Pelican West, established Heyward as a gifted songwriter with an unmistakable talent for melody.
His solo career continued with the acclaimed North of a Miracle, recorded with legendary Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick, and From Monday to Sunday, featuring the Billboard Alternative chart hit “Kite.” Following decades of recordings and international performances, Heyward reunited with Haircut 100 for anniversary tours, new music, and a celebrated return to the stage.
