Nick Heyward first captured audiences as the frontman and songwriter of Haircut 100, the British pop band behind infectious classics like “Love Plus One,” “Fantastic Day,” “Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl),” and “Nobody's Fool.” Their platinum-selling debut album, Pelican West, helped establish Heyward as one of the most distinctive songwriters of the early 1980s.
His solo career brought further success with North of a Miracle, From Monday to Sunday, and the alternative radio favorite “Kite,” while later albums continued to showcase his gift for smart, melodic pop. More recently, Heyward reunited with Haircut 100 to celebrate the legacy of Pelican West and introduce new music to longtime fans.
